Diabetes Awareness & Prevention Initiative

Together Towards a Healthier Future

Our Mission: At IEU-Paris, we are committed to raising awareness, promoting prevention, and contributing to the long-term goal of reducing and ultimately eradicating diabetes through education, research, and community engagement. We believe that awareness leads to prevention, and prevention leads to healthier communities.💙

Why Diabetes Awareness Matters :

Diabetes is one of the fastest-growing global health challenges, affecting millions worldwide. Early detection, lifestyle education, and community support play a vital role in prevention and effective management.
As an institution dedicated to knowledge and social responsibility, we aim to empower individuals with accurate information and practical guidance.

Silver Star Diabetes is a UK-registered charity established in 2007 by Keith Vaz. The charity is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting education, and supporting the prevention of diabetes through community outreach initiatives.

Its Mobile Diabetes Units provide free diabetes risk assessments and lifestyle guidance across workplaces, community centres, and public events, helping individuals better understand their health and reduce their risk of developing diabetes.

Research & Innovation

Supporting academic research on diabetes prevention, lifestyle management, and public health solutions.

Student Engagement

Encouraging students to participate in awareness campaigns, health screenings, research projects, and community outreach programmes.
We invite students, faculty, alumni, healthcare partners, and community members to join us in this important cause. Together, we can raise awareness, promote healthier lifestyles, and contribute to a future with reduced diabetes risk.
